Physician burnout has grown dramatically in recent years with about half of physicians experiencing at least one measure of burnout. In years past, the remedy has been on self-care and resiliency.

The "Opioid Addiction Identification and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD)" course is an educational program designed to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively address the opioid crisis.

This lecture will review current data on opioid use in youth. Treatment strategies including medication management, behavioral interventions, and harm reduction approaches will be discussed. 

This course reduces risk and provides education and competency to meet regulatory and licensure requirements for practitioners providing Telehealth services to patients who may have a crisis at a distance.
