ORN Spring 2024 - Opioid Use Disorder in Youth

This lecture will review current data on opioid use in youth. Treatment strategies including medication management, behavioral interventions, and harm reduction approaches will be discussed. 

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this seminar, attendees should be able to:

  1. Will be better able to describe the supporting evidence for the use of medication for opioid use disorder in youth.
  2. Will be able to appropriately utilize behavioral treatments for opioid use in youth.
  3. Will recognize effective harm reduction strategies for youth at risk of overdose.
