Understanding Pain and Conducting a Pain Assessment: Practical Guidance for Pain Management
This activity describes neuropathic, centralized, acute, and chronic pain as well as the importance of mental health assessment given biopsychosocial dimensions. Patient scenarios emphasize key points, and recommended medications to treat neuropathic pain are provided.
