Supervisory Practice: The Role of an Anesthesiologist Assistant and Supervising Anesthesiologist

Information presented in this course will include an overview of the rules for the establishment of a registration agreement, guidelines on how the practice is to be conducted with regards to supervision of the Anesthesiologist Assistant and how to successfully complete an application and ensure compliance with the Board’s Administrative Rules.    

Information gleaned from inspections indicates deficiencies and lack of understanding of the supervisory practice guidelines as they relate to supervision and compliance with the Board’s Administrative Rules.

  • Define the roles and responsibilities of anesthesiologists and anesthesiologist assistants in supervisory practice.
