Ethical Considerations in Assessing and Treating Moral Injury with Military Veterans

The Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) Mental Health (MH) Grand Rounds is a partnership between the VISN 16 South Central Mental Illness, Research and Clinical Center (SC MIRECC), and Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Speakers from VHA and academia present cutting edge topics and evidence-based practices that address mental health care needs of rural Veterans. The purpose of this recorded, knowledge-based virtual training for interprofessional healthcare teams is to to address ethical considerations that VA mental health clinicians encounter when assessing and treating Veterans seeking care for moral injury. This program will help bridge the knowledge gap for providers and healthcare teams when it comes to providing education to healthcare staff geared towards mental health and treating Veterans with moral injury.
