The 2020 Pennsylvania Child Abuse Course for Mandatory Reporters. This course is designed to satisfy mandatory CME requirements for Physicians and other healthcare professionals in the state of Pennsylvania. Completion of this course will satisfy the mandatory 2 hours of of education on Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting. InforMed reports all customers completing the NEW Mandatory Child Abuse Requirement within 48-72 hours of completion to the DOS.
Target Audience
This course is designed for Pennsylvania health care professionals and other mandatory reporters licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of State who are required to participate in approved child abuse recognition and reporting training as a condition of licensure.
Learning Objectives
Completion of this course will better enable the course participant to:
- Discuss the statutory requirements of mandatory reporters within the Commonwealth.
- Recognize specific signs of child abuse.
- Assess and document cases of suspected abuse.
- Describe the reporting procedure for mandatory reporters of child abuse.
