Forensics Evidence Collection

You never know when a sexual assault victim will present to your Emergency Room. Your ER may - or many not - have someone prepared to collect forensic evidence and provide a proper, legal sexual assault examination. If you are the Nurse responsible for performing the forensic evidence collection, would you know what to do? This activity addresses forensic evidence collection, would you know what to do? This activity addresses forensic evidence collection, preservation, and management; chain of custody; and courtroom testimony. 

This activity meets the Texas Board of Nursing's forensic evidence collection CNE requirement and awards 2.0 contact hours upon successful completion.
