Applying CDC’s Guidelines for Prescribing Opioids: Module 1: Addressing the Opioid Epidemic: Recommendations from CDC (Web Based)

This module will look at the CDC recommendations regarding the prescription of opioids for chronic pain. Given that it is sometimes hard to determine when acute pain becomes chronic pain, recommendations are also included related to prescribing opioids for acute pain. You will have the opportunity to examine the implications of these recommendations for treating your patients, and to practice making the best choices for their overall health and well-being.
